5K Color Run

Not just your usual 5K. Come run, jog, or walk the 5K mixed path-and-grass route around Wayne A. Gruber Memorial Park while getting blasted with colored powder. Our colors are made with high quality cornstarch, food dyes and baking soda. All materials are 100% FD&C and/or D&C grade and approved by the US FDA.

If you can't or don't want to do the full 5K but still want to have colorlicious fun, you can opt to only run/walk 1.5 miles instead.


We've found that kids love Color Runs, so grab the whole family and come join us!

Pro tips:

  • Try to wear a white or light-colored shirt.

  • Wear shoes you don't totally love (it's harder to get color out of sneakers than clothing).

  • Bring towels to sit on for your car ride home.

Fitness Segment by ZLife Studio

After the run and playing with colored powder, you’ll get to work up a sweat with 1.5 hours of a high-energy class led by Janine Godley of ZLife Studio. This Fitness Segment will feature Zumba®, STRONG by Zumba®, and ZLife’s exclusive class Cardio S.L.A.Y.

Here’s a description of each portion of the Fitness Segment:

Zumba® Fitness provides a high-energy workout that features Latin and international dance music. This portion of the class provides many benefits such as a total body workout. When done regularly, these classes can assist in weight loss, improve coordination, strengthen muscles, and increase endurance. There are also mental health benefits including an increase in confidence, stress relief, and opportunities to be a part of a growth-building positive community.

STRONG by Zumba® combines traditional exercise moves that are synced to music. One thing that is unique about STRONG: the exercise routine is developed first, then the music is “reverse engineered” to fit the routine. The class combines plyometric training, cardio, endurance, and muscle and body weight conditioning. STRONG classes are more athletic than a traditional Zumba class, and are comprised of “HIIT” training, which is a high intensity interval training that expends a high amount of caloric burn that lasts after the workout is over, yielding greater results. STRONG is for the fitness lover and people interested in progressing their level of fitness. No matter your level of fitness, there’s something for you in STRONG - the program is built so the intensity is modifiable through 3 different modifications, or variations, to suit where you are in your fitness journey.

STRONG contains pumped-up music with a real party vibe! Music has never made you sweat like this before!


Cardio S.L.A.Y is a class developed by and exclusive to ZLife Studio. S.L.A.Y stands for “Strength, Legs, Arms and Abs, and You.” This workout targets cardio, strength, legs, abs and an all around workout for YOU! It is a cardio workout combined with strength training isolating different sets of muscles for each class. During regular classes in the Studio, weights are regularly used to help strengthen these specific muscle groups.


During this event, you’ll get to experience all three of these classes.

Pro tips:

  • Bring a hand towel for that sweat.

  • Bring a water bottle to make sure you stay hydrated.

  • Because this will take place on outdoors, bring an old/not-particularly-special yoga mat.
